Job Title:  Sales and Marketing Manager 

Shift:  Day and evening 

Location:  Brisbane North - Draper 

Division:  Amrata 

Approved By:  General Manager 

 

 Summary 

Manages design and production of planned marketing programs for the Amrata Estate and other ventures as determined by management, by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. 

 

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

 

  • Assists in establishing strategic marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives for products and services. 

  • Develops and executes marketing programs to achieve stated objectives regarding revenue, profitability, and market share. 

  • Helps manage marketing budget. 

  • Plans and oversees execution of promotional activities including print, electronic media, trade show, direct mail, point-of-purchase displays, and signage. 

  • Negotiates contract terms with outside agencies and suppliers. 

  • Communicates with outside advertising agencies on ongoing campaigns. 

  • Manages development, production, and distribution of promotional and collateral materials to support sales and marketing programs. 

  • Analyzes marketing programs and adjusts strategy and tactics to increase effectiveness. 

  • Plans and conducts market research to identify opportunities for increased sales. 

  • Maintains customer database and approves the use of internal and external mailing lists. 

  • Reviews analysis of marketing surveys on current and new product concepts in order to recommend future product development. 

  • Provides post-event reports, analysis, and regular status reports on marketing programs. 

  • Plans, promotes, and executes sales meetings and community and goodwill events. 

  • Helps establish and maintain consistent corporate image throughout product lines, promotional materials, and events. 

  • Manages all social media accounts for the business including marketing, correspondence, sales etc. 

 

 Supervisory Responsibilities 

Directly supervises employees in the Marketing team as it grows.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations 

It is a requirement of this position that the employee has a current open or P plate drivers licence and has up to date COVID vaccination status as determined by the State Government.  

 

Education and/or Experience 

Bachelor's degree; or three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

 

 Language Skills 

Ability to read, analyse, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public. 

 

 Mathematical Skills 

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
